Birthright Provides Resources and Healing Support to Women Caught Off Guard by Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a life changing event. It speaks to the wonder of life, symbolizes the beauty of womanhood, and awakens bonds of love previously unknown.
But what happens when pregnancy catches a woman by surprise, or when she or her partner aren’t ready to care for an infant? The enormity and weight of such a situation can render feelings of stress and anxiety instead of the usual joy and anticipation.
This is where Birthright comes in. The Vancouver nonprofit empowers women and teens caught off guard by pregnancy to formulate a plan and find answers and emotional support all women need during pregnancy–planned or unplanned.
