WHAT: Serenade the Venues We Miss: Local children’s musician and entertainers post Valentines and perform a brief song at several beloved Portland family music venues

WHO: Local children’s artists Mr. Ben, Talullah’s Daddy, Kelli Welli, and Penny from Penny’s Puppets

WHEN: Sunday, February 14th between 11 am and 4 pm (weather permitting)

Several children’s musicians and performers, many whom PDX Parent readers have voted top family music entertainers in the city, will livestream a “tour” to deliver valentines to various venues around town. These are venues and stores where these artists normally perform. They will drop a”Valentines” at each spot and tell their fans about what these venues mean to local family artists.

Mr. Ben, Talullah’s Daddy, Kelli Welli, and Penny’s Puppets will stop by these favorite kids’ music venues to wave hello and perform a song on Facebook Live.

As Kelli Welli says, “These are all spaces which have supported artists and provided musical experiences to local kids and families.

All of our city’s kindie artists miss performing live. By serenading each venue, we want to let them know we love them and miss playing there.”
