Hello Vancouver! The ‘Couve’s Very Own Talk Show

The rhythmic beat of the drums pulsed from the heart of the city. The crowd hurried through the balmy fall air toward the sound, some stopped, captivated by the young drummers on the street. Others continued into the historic Kiggins Theatre located on Main Street in downtown Vancouver. Excitement and anticipation snapped in the air.

Production volunteers and audio wizards, such as Erica Marchbank and Brad Wager, competently weaved through the crowd, taking care of last minute details. Tables of literature, books, drinks, popcorn, and a min iPad giveaway were drawing people into the lobby. But, what was the main draw for all the excitement on September 24? Free clip-on buttons gave the first clue. “Hello Vancouver!” they shouted.
