Read aloud your original or favorite work, and listen to monthly featured poets. All ages welcome.
2024 schedule: Every 4th Wednesday
6:15 – doors open
6:25 – readers final sign-in
6:30-7:45 – poet reading
General Guidelines:
- Reading Room will open at 6:15 p.m.
- Readers must sign in by 6:25 p.m.
- Poetry readings will begin by 6:30 p.m.
- Readers may use original poems (preferred) or favorites
- Order of readings will be commensurate with sign-in sheet
- Each reader will have 3-5 minutes to read depending upon total number
- Observer feedback / comments will open after the final poet has read
Guidelines for Readers:
- Poems should not contain language unsuitable for family, e.g. profanity, sexually explicit
- Time limitations will be strictly enforced to ensure all readers can participate
- As a courtesy, please remain present until the final poems are read
