$15May 9th’s COMEDY ON TAP will feature headliner Susan Rice who will be supported by Jason Traeger and Chase Brockett, and host Richie Stratton!
Susan Rice loves to make people laugh. She began her professional comedy career in 1983 and at present is still making people laugh. Her career has taken her all over the country playing all the comedy clubs of the 1980s & ’90s. Appearing on all the Network & Cable Comedy channels solidified Rice’s credentials as a professional comedian. The new century found her working more corporate events for companies such as Microsoft and Intell as well as The Red Hat Society. In 2015 Rice was voted by her peers and patrons of comedy The Willamette Weekly’s “Portland’s Funniest Person”
As a stand-up comic Jason Traeger has performed with the Oregon Symphony and was included in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. In 2016 he was voted one of Portland’s Funniest Five in the Willamette Week’s annual poll. Today he exhibits regularly, maintains a studio art practice and produces the TraegerMethod podcast. He lives and works in Portland, OR.
Chase Brockett has performed all over the US, including SF Sketchfest, as well as international gigs in England, Ireland, and France. He co-created Dead Comics Society in 2017 and has been carrying on ever since.
