A Tail to Remember Dinner & Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The event will be held at The Heathman Lodge on February 28th, 2026 at 5:30pm. We hope you will mark your calendar and plan to join us!

Dinner & Live Auction
The night will begin with a cocktail reception that includes
a Wall of Wine and a Fishbowl Raffle
Upon arrival, your experience will include a warm welcome with a glass of prosecco and assorted appetizers. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a chance at our Fishbowl Raffle, Bubbles & Bling Raffle, and our Heads & Tails competition. And, visit our Wall of Wine.
After dinner, participate in our famous Dessert Dash. Then, it’s Live Auction time!
This year, we have some exciting items in our Live Auction lineup, including some of our traditional favorites, like Name the Shelter and Celebrity Pet. All of our Live Auction items will be available for preview as our event date approaches.
If you would like to make a night of it, you can plan a stay at the Heathman Lodge by calling (360) 254-3100 and asking to be part of the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society room block for the discounted rate of $129 per night.
