Cameraderie, a Vancouver Audubon youth nature photography group, will be having an outing Saturday morning, April 11th at Catherine Creek Day Use Area. Since The Gorge can be brutal with its winds, we will look at the predicted weather the several days leading up to this field trip, and pick an alternate location if needed. Sign up to receive updates by email with updated information as the time nears. If you have already signed up for Cameraderie, you do not need to sign up again.
Catherine Creek is known for its abundant wildflowers, unique Lewis’s and Acorn Woodpeckers, and outstanding scenery. We will plan on meeting at the Catherine Creek Day Use Area at 9:00 am. If you would like to carpool, please email kenp@vancouveraudubon.org to work out details.
Check out other free opportunities for youth offered by VAS. Our Youth Nature Photography Contest ($1800 in cash prizes) ends May 31st, so this walk would be a great opportunity to take photos to submit (up to 5 photos).
