JUNE 1 – Animal Sheltering & Shelter Medicine

Learn how HSSW develops its policies and procedures for animal care from daily care and feeding to play and enrichment; learn about the routine veterinary care animals experience in the shelter; and hear about some not-so-typical medical marvels performed by our clinic team.

Take a deep dive into the training and management of your new puppy with our experts Cierra Whitcomb and Kai Staton, Certified Professional Dog Trainers. You don’t need to have a new puppy in your life to benefit from all they have to offer. This is a great lecture to attend before you make the big commitment. AUGUST 17 – Canine Behavior 101
Dogs might be our best friends, but they can still be pretty mysterious when it comes to their behavior. Our Certified Professional Dog Trainers, Cierra Whitcomb and Kai Staton can help demystify our canine friends and help you understand what your dog is trying to tell you and how you can respond in a language he will understand.
